Craving Indulgence

During COVID-19

Snacking is a part of our culture.  Long gone are the days where 3 meals a day are the norm, and with the COVID-19 pandemic, it seems that American consumers have once again turned to snacks for comfort and enjoyment.  Based on NPD’s latest Snack Food Behaviors in Challenging Times study, snack food consumption has increased 8% during the pandemic as folks look to comfort food with savory and sweet snacks in mind.  Not only was there an increase in snack consumption, but there was a 4% increase in snacking occasions.  Lucky for us, Aramark has a variety of snacks to satisfy any craving!

Craving Crunchy

Bare Pineapple Chips

I like simple, and I like fruit.  So you can imagine my pure joy when I learned that Bare Snacks® announced new Simply Pineapple Chips!  The snack is made with real pineapple that’s baked with no added oil, sugar*, or preservatives.  Now, when I say this product is simple, it’s no joke.  There’s only one ingredient on the nutritional panel, and that’s pineapple.  So here’s to eating plenty of fruit this summer, including the crave-ably crunchy kind.

*Not a low calorie food.

Yours Truly,

Tracie T.
