I Can See Your
Halo, Halo, Halo
As we’re leaving the summer months behind, I had to give a quick shout out to Halo Top, the low-sugar, high-protein frozen treat that was founded in 2012. When Halo Top first appeared in the market, they definitely sweetened things up in a unique way – they were the first of its kind to lead the pint with their light ice cream that boasted fewer calories, less sugar, and more protein than other brands. It even inspired the ”Halo Top Diet” and continues to innovate, recently launching ice cream pops. Halo Top has been in the news because they were bought by ice cream manufacturer Wells Enterprises (maker of Blue Bunny ice cream). Wells’ expertise in operations and manufacturing is expected to help Halo Top continue to grow their sales of $342 million. Proof that sometimes less is more!
