$52 Billion + And Counting
U.S. Organic Market
Product attributes are a big deal. I recently heard that food is political, and that every time you eat a snack and/or drink a beverage, you choose the world you want to live in. Now that’s deep! It seems more and more people are choosing to go organic too, as annual sales in the U.S. hit a record high of over $52 billion in 2018. This isn’t a surprise since “organic” encompasses a plethora of traits that are all on trend – clean, sustainable, environmentally friendly, etc. Speaking of making political choices, have y’all heard about Café Feminino coffee? Since 2014 they’ve given women their fair share, and have a coffee program that’s committed to end the poverty cycle of women coffee farmers. Even better – Café Feminino is organic and available from Joffrey’s!
Tell Me A Story
And Make It a Clifhanger!
True fact: Millennials crave info, and the best way to reach us is to turn up the non-traditional marketing and bring on the story. In comes Clif, whose recent campaign of “giving voice to organic food” actually gave the mic to the farmers who grow organic ingredients. In this video, we see an organic oat farm in Canada that tells the story of a multigenerational farming. Now that’s impactful!
