For The Ideal Meal
What is your ideal meal? Most folks still believe that the ideal meal is healthy, made from scratch, and shared with others. But needless to say, that is not our reality. Back in the day (50’s and 60’s), the idea of a meal included only three “square” meals a day, with dinner including a meat, vegetable, and starch served family style. Today, meals are no longer anchors of our day- meaning it’s an afterthought where a meal fits into our schedules. A report from The Transformation of the American Meal 2017 found that life-stage changes impacted mealtime habits the most, but childhood roles and routines came back around as folks grew older and established their own meal habits. So what is the predicted future of the American meal? Breakfast and lunch will give way to snackification, but dinner will become a fundamental way for us to reconnect and enjoy.
Looking To The Future
At A Billion Dollar Brand
Who can resist the bubly personality of… bubly!? Not many, and neither can PepsiCo’s chairman and CEO Ramen Laguarta, who noted bubly as a star that’s slated for greatness… plastic free, multiple can sizes, and flavor innovation. Bubly was first launched in February of last year as a calorie-free sparkling water with a bang of personality. Not only has the brand ramped up distribution, they’ve also added another star into the mix with a “Bublé” personality, who goes by the name of Michael. So here’s to the next sip!
