Chocolate milk isn’t just for kids anymore. La Colombe recently released its very first product from its Fresh Ideas limited-batch innovation hub and let me tell you… it’s spectacular! They’ve taken a childhood favorite drink and added their patented nitrous oxide process to give it that signature draft mouth-feel and brought us a high-quality chocolate in a lactose-free milk experience. The product is rich and foamy and low in sugar. From a functional perspective, it has calcium and vitamin D and is caffeine free. If you haven’t tried this chocolatey wonder yet, tap into nostalgia and sip on.
Once upon a time, healthy was defined as low calorie or low fat. Fast forward to today and this definition has evolved. In the past I mentioned that consumers are looking at the holistic side of food, and it’s no surprise that manufacturers are in the know. To address this new demand, Nestlé has released a new frozen food line called Life Cuisine, which is tailored to four consumer preferences: low-carb, high protein, meatless, and gluten-free. With this new launch, Nestlé’s goal was to offer meals that fit within a personal definition of wellness without compromising on the taste. Taking fresh ideas to reality – I’ll eat to that!
