Dalgona Coffee
But Wait There’s More!
Dalgona coffee is super on-trend, so I just could not help myself but share some more instant coffee recipe ideas that’ll sweeten up your taste buds! Real quick – Dalgona coffee (as it’s known in South Korea) is a whipped mix of instant coffee, sugar, and water. This week I found some more inspirational ideas to share. First up: chilled Nutella coffee (because spreading Nutella on toast is just not enough), which blends instant coffee, milk, Nutella, sugar, and vanilla extract together to make a morning fuel-up. Another recipe for those instant grounds: Frozen Blended Mocha, which takes milk, cocoa powder, pure vanilla extract, instant coffee, salt, and sugar. You have to freeze the mixture, and then blend it once you’re ready to drink. Who knew instant coffee could be so whipping good?!
Trend Focused
Convenient, Colorful, and Extra Flavorful
Where do trends come from? I ponder this every day considering I take my passion of trend searching very seriously. Back in the day, trends came from chefs. But, fast forward to today, and if you’re a progressive foodie, you can lead a trend – thanks to social media! Another interesting source of trends are anthropologists, who are finding foods in places like the Amazon. With this in mind, below are the predicted fruits and veggies slated to be popular:
1.Seaweed – seaweed chips anyone?
2.Jackfruit – can be used as a meat alternative.
3.Honeynut squash – a tinier version of butternut squash.
4.Mushrooms – I know, not really a veggie, but they’re there in the produce section.
And lastly, anything convenient, colorful, and extra flavorful is on trend. So many options, so much potential!
Yours Truly,
